Father Bertin Miller

Founder and Executive Director of RECON and Franciscan Priest

As Executive Director of Recon, a Wounded Brothers Project, Father Miller serves a long-term residential managed recovery program for priests. He is also the founder of Evergreen Hills Homes, a long-term residential program for homeless and abandoned youth. Father Miller co-founded the Il Ritiro retreat center in Dittmer, Missouri, and he has served as a retreat director, spiritual advisor to priests, and in the residential care and rehabilitation of clergy since 1968.

Father Miller is the Director of ongoing formation for his Franciscan province. He writes and conducts workshops on “Repairing and Maintaining Professional Boundaries," and he makes his home in Dittmer, Missouri.
