An ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church in the USA, Gerald works as an interim minister for churches in transition, and he has provided training in organizational development to help them move beyond crisis and conflict. He also consults with churches in need of direction and healing.

Gerald has done doctoral work in Roman Catholic and Lutheran seminaries; and his certification includes: psychotherapist-Institute for Reality Therapy, a Family Mediator, The Florida Supreme Court, Mediator in the US Postal Service, and Myers Briggs Personality Inventory. Gerald makes his home in Tampa, Florida.
